A 239% increase in sales

Lacorium Health Australia, an Australian owned company which has been operating for more than 10 years, is making large inroads into the footcare industry.

Lacorium’s footcare products, under the ‘Dermal Therapy’ brand name are now one of the largest players in the market and are certainly driving growth in a flat category in pharmacy.

With a focus on innovation and efficacy the Dermal Therapy brand has seen a huge 239% increase in sales over the last year - well in excess of their competitors, most of who have had 0% or negative growth over the same 12 month period, according to the latest figures released by IMS.

Dermal Therapy is becoming the driving force behind footcare in Australian pharmacies and is becoming very trusted amongst consumers, medical practitioners and pharmacy staff alike.

“It’s very exciting that we have had such a huge growth in our range of footcare products. We are very proud of our entire range and have put a lot of work into them to make them the most effective products on the market for people to look after their feet. Our research and development is continuing into footcare and we are committed to producing new and innovative products that are extremely efficacious to market. In a further exciting development we will be launching a new skin care range in early 2012”, said Steven Sher, Managing Director, Lacorium.

The products in the Dermal Therapy range include ‘Dermal Therapy Fungistop’ which is appropriate for use on not only fungal infections, but also Ringworm (Tinea Corporis), Tinea, Athlete’s Foot and Onychomycosis (nail fungus).

Dermal Therapy Fungistop has two key ingredients to allow it to work so efficiently and effectively. Their powerful combination of tea tree oil and eucalyptus oil has been clinically trialled by independent testing and the results conclusively showed that Fungistop killed 99% of three major fungal/skin infection-causing organisms. It is also priced extremely competitively at a RRP of $29.95

‘Dermal Therapy Heel Magic’ is another break though product which combines shea butter, olive oil and urea to repair dry, scaly and cracked heels and feet with a unique consumer friendly applicator stick . This product has again been tested and visible results can be seen and felt in just three days. Similarly, ‘Dermal Therapy Heel Balm’ is an innovative highly efficacious non greasy product which hydrates the feet, ensuring multiple layers of skin nurturing and protection.
